    Weapon mounted light test

    Nice to see the TLR-1 still doing yeoman's work. (Since I have one on pistol, and one on AR.)

    Interesting. Wish they would have done the immersion test last as I think it is the least important of them.especially when you immerse lights that tell you up front aren’t designed to pass the test.

    Salt water immersion for extended periods of time is not that relevant for law enforcement or armed citizens. If I drop my gun and/or light into salt water, I'm probably going to recover it within a few minutes of not at all (because it's at the bottom of the ocean).It may be more relevant to naval special warfare or other military units doing waterborne assaults.

    That said, I found the trial useful, fair, and as the tester mentioned, a lot of fun. I was also glad to see the strength of the TLR-1. I've used other lights, but prefer the TLR-1HL for a pistol and, to a lesser extent, rifle light.
