My conclusion: Separate from any data or list of pros and cons, I simply love this gun. Even when I’m frustrated by it, I always having fun shooting it. Would I say you’re crazy to choose a $450 Glock over a $2,000 9mm Springfield Custom Shop 1911? No. But if you did choose the 1911, I’d understand completely… and I’d do the same.

That is the correct answer. They're not way better than other guns and they're not way worse. They're cool, and you feel cool shooting and carrying them.

I am curious if 9x25 wound ballistics could get us past temporary stretch cavity and into torn tissue like some rifle wounds ? Of course you would probably go deaf quickly.

No, seriously, back in the '90s he supposed experimented with the cartridge (the whole idea behind it being that it makes enough gas to drive a comp really well) and it was kittening up his elbows at the volume of shooting he does. Dunno, could be just one of those rumors.

One big problem is the lack of .355" projectiles designed to operate at those velocities.
