Austin Police Officer killed in line of duty

It is a sad say today as a brother was lost. Last night an officer from my neighboring agency was shot and killed while pefroming his job.

My thought and prayers go out to the family of Officer Jaime Padron and the officers that served with him.

Sad sad story. Fair winds and following seas. RIP

Prayers sent for the fallen officer, his famly and friends.

One small bit of helpful news. They did apprehend his (alleged) murderer. And murder of a police officer does not sit well with juries in Texas.

Was just logging in to post this. Thoughts and prayers to Officer Padron's family and brother officers.
Must be something in the air down here this week, APD also had this OIS this week, and it sounds like the aftermath was close to getting ugly:

SAPD had a couple of OIS this week too. Stay safe guys.

Sad tragic day, my thoughts and prayers go out to the family left behind.

Is there any news of a memorial fund ? I would like to help out the family if I could.

Some gutsy Walmart employees to subdue the shooter too.

It didn't sound like the suspect had a long criminal record. The Xanax connection stuck out. I assume the pharmacy there may stock it.
