I bought Caleb's 4566 and it is a sweet shooter. It is now my favorite 3rd Gen S&W 45 (the other ones are my 4506 and 457).

So you're the one that got that. *Shakes fist* Darn you! I got the M18 and the 92GA1.

Sometimes I wish the 4566 and Gen 3 style guns were being made by someone.

Check out the Daewoo line of pistols. Very S&W like in their looks but I know little else about them.

I had a Lionheart LH9 (the domestic name that Daewoo is getting imported under) for a while. I liked it just fine, it was solid and accurate, but it didn't do anything that I couldn't do better with a surplus 5906. Still, if I wanted a "modern" 3rd Gen Smif I'd probably look them up again.
