    No hard facts yet?

    Few.
Perhaps one day, Officers will be considered "out of uniform" if they are unarmed.

    RUMINT.

I am positive that I saw an article a couple of days about a tip that this was going to happen. Maybe I've developed precognition.

Mother of God. What's it going to take before people trained at arms, with experience going into harms way, are allowed to defend themselves at home? Fort Hood "history of mental health issues" trading cards?

Shamelessly recycling what I wrote for FB consumption earlier today:

Our military bases are gun-free zones.

    Wait, what? WTF? Really?

    Yes, really.

I'd laugh if it weren't so tragic. The same folks who go heavily armed in service of their country while on deployment are nearly all prohibited from carrying a gun on duty stateside. And now we have three successful domestic terror attacks, two at the SAME FSCKING BASE, taking advantage of the mental weakness of our military leadership.

Here's an idea: armed service members on every base = no more domestic terror attacks on CONUS military bases. Crazy thought, I know, but it's time for a change.

See, that one doesn't work, because it has the word 'intelligence' in it.

And I also heard that rumor.

Which Ft Hood shooting? Getting to the bottom of it the first time would've prevented it the second time, eh?

“No, I don't think soldiers should have concealed weapons on base, we have law enforcement agencies. They're trained professionals, and I don't endorse carrying concealed weapons on base.” -LTG Mark Milley, commanding

Working out pretty well so far, General...
