Thread: Arizona bill to fund armed militia advances

Arizona bill to fund armed militia advances

Feds armed the drug traffickers and in return the State of Arizona may be arming some residents via volunteer militia to protect the border. I imagine the fed's will be coming after AZ again if this passes.

They should just increase the manpower and utilize their current volunteer force.

They already had a modern posse precedent I thought. This is good. Every county (I'm really thinking rural counties) should have a volunteer posse of vetted volunteers they can call up to ride.

I get the point, but I think it's a shame they have to do this.

This was the point of the National Guard....at the state, not county level, but still.....

I lived in Arizona for 15 years and driving down to Ajo a few times every year or even down over to Rocky Point, you can't help but think its a lost cause. The Feds will not fix this problem but AZ shouldn't be doing this. They should be funding the counties that need the help not some private militias.

I lived in AZ for 20+years and I'm not surprised things have come to this.
