Kind of. The wartime Panzerfausts were single-shot, disposable, short-range anti-tank recoilless weapons. Later models were reloadable and (IIRC) used rocket propulsion after the projectile was launched via recoilless charge, and were the basis for the Russian RPG series, but saw little if any use by the Germans during the war itself. The Panzerschreck (or more accurately, Raketenpanzerbusche) was a true rocket launcher, which came about when the Germans encountered the Bazooka for the first time in North Africa and scaled up the design to use an existing 88mm antitank rocket they were using in a small wheeled AT gun called the 8.8cm Raketenwerfer 43. The Panzerfausts, especially the later models, were also significantly more powerful than the Panzerschrecks.

    I'm filing this under funny.
If you live in CA, you may justifiably think otherwise.
