The grip screws aren't timed, but it looks neat.

Sam Andrews came through again. Last night the postman delivered this holster for my Hoag 5" Colt. It's fitted for a square triggerguard and with a sweatshield to protect my soft underbelly from the Bomars and the checkered hammer.
thanks! Yeah, its an Ed Brown Match dropin barrel. Took a while to fit. Had to modify the VIS and frame bridge a bit to get it to time properly, but it shoots like a house on fire now. Here's a 10 round group from a rest at 25 yards.
I also replaced all the MIM parts with an assortment of Harrison, Wilson and EGW parts. About the only things that are factory on her are the Thumb and Grip safeties, the pins and the mag catch. I hate shiny guns, so I used the caswell stainless blackener on the slide and frame, which gave it the kinda grey finish. Not sure if I will keep it like that or get it cerakoted.
Looks good like it is. I will have to get some Caswell on the way for my stainless DW.
Happy 160th Birthday JMB!
