    She is adorable.

    Same thing happened to me years ago at a rescue shelter, and we came home with a 10-week old Black Lab.

    Congrats on the newest addition to the family, be sure and save the pictures of them playing together. They will bring many smiles to you when your young fellow is grown and out of the house.

    Congrats Sean! They grow up, move out, and get their own dogs... this one is my son's that he picked up as a stray. Not sure what he is, thinking he may be part Mastiff.

    Sean,

    Nothing wrong with older parents, my dad was 65 when I graduated high school, though I was sometimes referred to as the replacement for the aircraft he was planning to buy at the time.

    Kids and dogs, particularly boys and dogs, are a great combination. In the long run you won't be sorry. In the short run, you may want to secure your flip flops.......
