Thread: JRC's Appendix Holster

  1. #21
Thanks JV for the update and review.

The holster looks great, quick question for anyone or for JRCHolsters. How are the screws mounted on the inside of the leather? Just wondering if there is a chance were the gun will be pressed up against or rub on the backs of the screws?

    Thanks

Recessed Chicago screw, the female portion is in the holster shell.

It shouldn't touch the gun and there is plenty of space.

Thanks, I saw that. I'm glad to see it's becoming even more adjustable.
I have one of the new loops, I really like the design. The new loop width should help with printing.

    Has it replaced your Shaggy?

After this last match, I'm officially switching to a Sig. I'm using a homemade holster right now, the one I made for my P30.

I've been in contact with JRC to get a new holster. I just can't decide if it'll be for my 226 or 229, they could share the same holster if it was kydex, but the width is different enough I'm concerned about it with leather.

The other night at the range, LittleLebowski almost walked off with my JRC holster. He seemed pretty keen on it. Since he's still shooting a 19, he's going to run it.

Excellent holster! I finally found an AIWB holster that fully conceals a full-size 1911.

I am very happy with it to be sure. My daily carry holster and my first quality leather holster.
