One day because it looks brand new, has a sling with Chinese characters on it, is the shortest SKS I've seen, and was 120 bucks. No magazine however.

All stupidity aside- aren't hang-fires really rare in small arms?

I would suspect that the firing pin probably hung up. I doubt it was an ammo related hang fire.

Sadly, the first thing an untrained person usually does with a firearm is put their finger on the trigger and look down the barrel. It would almost be funny if it weren't so sad. I've heard of several people dying because they did this same thing with a muzzleloader which commonly have misfires/hangfires. I personally don't get it. Hummmmmmmm, the garbage disposal just suddenly stopped, I better stick my hand down here and see if I can clear it up...... AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My gut says "fake" about the video. My big issue is when he gets the "click" the first time, he cycles the action of the gun, but nothing comes out. I just can't figure out how from that sequence of events he gets a hangfire detonation.
