I've had a 1950s Bernardelli.25 ACP pistol for decades. In the original box there is a cylinder about 1.5" high and .5" in diameter. When you unscrew the cap there is a needle attached to the cap that fits inside the cylinder. I'm thinking the cylinder is designed to hold oil or grease and the needle may be for reaching recessed areas of the gun? Just wanted to check to see if anyone had seen anything like this, and if I'm correct in what it's used for.
