Just started the show this week. It's pretty well written. Some of the stuff like the clothing and language is not accurate, but some of the stuff, like being gone from your kids with no explanation, wouldn't cause people to bat an eyebrow like it would today.

I really enjoy the fact that they hire actual Russian speaking actors to play those Russian speaking characters. They even use period terminology, which is awesome.

I expected there to be a pretty serious bit of buildup towards the next season.
