    Back into the 1911s

Just didn't get happy with the challenger to the title, so back to the 1911.

Carbon barrel, carbon trigger, 20lpi on the front, more details and range trip to follow shortly.

IS it the camera angle or is there something up with the MSH/frame fit?

No, it has a lanyard loop on it. I often need to go deep concealment, and in NPEs, I like a lanyard to help with retention if things go critical with a fellow WW customer.

I would be interested in why you couldn't get happy with the Sig?
Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.

I'd like to know who had 1/24 in the pool.

Meh. Screws out of time. Needs tuning. Also 47D.

    Otherwise, fine shooting iron.

"WCT" SN prefix but the frame doesn't appear to be undercut? Or am I missing something?
In a sort of ghastly simplicity we remove the organ and demand the function. We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honour and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bid the geldings be fruitful.” ― C.S. Lewis, The Abolition of Man

Bill can comment. Hope he does.

I believe thats the "new" 2013 frame cut. Theres a bit of discussion about it at 1911 forum - Wilson sub group.

Some of us still like the 47D for non magwell guns. 500 tube is longer, more space for 8 rounds and stouter spring, but at the price of mag hanging out of grip, a bit. There is a very small ground swell of interest in the new square wire HD spring of the ETM adopted to the 47D for a more compact, better working 8 round version...
