I've been gorging myself on this show last few weeks or so, all caught up.

    Fantastic.

Graphic violence, well choreographed fight scenes by people that have studied fighting, splendid character development, great script, great dialogue, total chaos, badass native american ninja chicks, badass ukrainian mobster chicks, softcore porn, oh wait, I mean lots and lots of nudity, and incetuous Amish mobsters.

Ridiculous plot lines including the torture of an extremist Amish school teacher to button man beheading by semi-truck to neo-Nazis beaten half to death with medieval weaponry.

    What's not to love?

Friday's episode was quite badass. I see rivers of blood in the future.

Past, present, future. Blood rivers, just another common tourist attraction at ye old town of Banshee.

I'm assuming spoilers are ok, but I'll announce.

    SPOILERS AHEAD:

Proctor is one of those villains that's a bit difficult to hate. Probably my only minor complaint thus far. Killing the kid was bad, as is his inbreeding, but he did save the prosecutor, and doesn't seem like a man of pure malevolence.

Chayton is eerie as hell. Something in his calm when taking a life, like his heart rate doesn't go over 50bpm. "Shhhhh." I kind of wasn't surprised by that ending, but I was surprised by that ending.

Oh my, we haven't ever seen Hood wail like that. Then the look on his face. Something Wrath of God like in them.

Which makes me wonder if he's going to temporarily make allies with Proctor to go after their shared enemy, the redbones.

Chayton's going to bite the dust. Seems guaranteed, with all the epic battles (Clay and Nola, one of the best) the writers have their work cut out. But I have faith.

And man, I'm ready for the Colonel to return. Even in his quiet moments, like getting dumped by Carrie, he seems utterly demonic.

So much going on, this show is nuts. I love it.

The Colonel is going is probably going to be involved before Hood can get to Chayton I bet.

Yeah, geez, I hope so. He hasn't been in the last 3 episodes. I could probably look up when that actor is up next, but what's the fun in that?

The show has plenty to keep me entertained, but I'm feeling a little teased by his absence. Colonel Stowe's character was built up the first 2 episodes, then....nothing.

In a show where pretty much everyone is a badass, he seems like he could be King Badass of badasses.

Rabbit was scary, but now you have a Black Ops Colonel Commando with the military at his disposal, not to mention all of his loyal commando pals. I wouldn't want to be on his shit list. As usual, Job seems to be the only one thinking this is a bad idea.

Plus he got his feelers hurt when he basically got dumped by Carrie. Hell hath no fury like a Black Op Squad leader/Colonel scorned.

It's lonely in this Banshee thread. But I just had to say that the finale was spectacular. I think a lot of folks get scared off by the ridiculous plotlines, but it's raw entertainment in it's purest form, imo.

I've seen clips on youtube, it does look like fun. I havent found a place to watch it for free online. I dont have netflix, cable/satellite or any of that sort of thing. No TV either.

ETA: just looked at youtube again. 4 hrs ago somebody loaded se01 e01. Have to see if it actually works.
