    Drills

Is there a resource out there that has a good set of AR 15 drills like we have the DOTW? I have found some stuff but nothing as good as DOTW.

I just modify my pistol drills for the carbine. I also add 3X5 cards to increase the difficulty on the up close shots.

I shoot these rifle standards http://www.combatshootingandtactics.com/standards.htm

I use his paper targets but like you can use an ipsc a zone. Basically you have to run the drill clean with all hits in the a zone in allocated time.

The CSAT standards were pretty much driving my rifle range sessions. I just ran each one until I could meet the standard a few times in a row and then called it a day.

When I am shooting carbine a lot I'll shoot them once or twice a month, 100 yards in. If I clean them I put the carbine away and do the pistol standards. I think they really are the best set of standards out there

Nice, I will add this to what I have already. I went to the range today with a buddy and we ran the VTAC 2x2x2,1-5, and a scaled down version of Chaos. I pulled these off of VTAC's YT channel and typed up the drill in a DOTW type format.

Has anyone used Jeff Gonzales' TACOST training deck? I'm thinking about picking up both the pistol and rifle set.

IIRC, the 1-5 was originally a 50 yard drill. That version holds a lot more appeal to me.

Thx, I'll go through this and see what I can use at my range.

John- I need to work on the distance stuff but the more I shoot rifle the more I realize my use case for a rifle doesn't include very long distances. That being said I want to be proficient out to maybe 200 yards.
