Wow, I'd have never thought of that. It only took 13-14 seconds for him to get his first round downrange, then he ends up on the deck where incoming rounds can ride the pavement to his position. Awesome.

You guys with recent service can answer this, but is getting out of the kill zone ASAP no longer considered a good idea? This guy would have flunked tactics at the Benning School for Boys back in the day.
I'm no expert in vehicle tactics but getting out of the vehicle and exposing your whole body while you jump in the back seems counter intuitive. Dropping your gun is never a good idea.
