Just wanted to check in and say thanks to all that have made this forum the most informative and cordial firearms related forum on the web. I've been lurking here for several months and have learned a lot and realize that I have much more to go. I'm usually pretty quiet so I won't post a lot - just an occasional question or maybe some insight into something I've tried. I'm not LEO or Veteran but have huge respect and thanks to those that serve and have served. I'm mostly a self taught shooter since childhood and would love to advance my skills. I'm a 50 something and was born of depression era parents (late arrival), thus I've been taught the value in just about everything. Life's been full but good, and I hope to soon find the time to take my shooting and defensive skills to a higher level. In the meantime if we ever encounter each other we probably won't know it, but know that I'm looking out for your back as I'm sure you are mine.
