That story didn't tell you very much. They could have done a great public service and gone through all of the steps. I travel every week with a firearm, its a simple process.
I also travel with guns very regularly........it is a roll of the dice everytime on how it is going to go. Every so often it is totally smooth, but often some rules get made up or simple stupidity rules the day.
Just a Hairy Special Snowflake supply clerk with no field experience, shooting an Asymetric carbine as a Try Hard. Snarky and easily butt hurt. Favorite animal is the Cape Buffalo....likely indicative of a personality disorder.
