    New M&P rattle

I just picked up a new M&P FS 9mm and i am now noticing the slide to frame fit is a bit loose. It actually rattles somewhat if i shake it. Im not thrilled with the fit. Should i be concerned over this?

I have a SP2022 that rattles like a can of spray paint and will tear a ragged hole in an index card at 30 feet. What really matters is barrel to slide fit.

I haven't shot it yet. The barrel feels very tight to the slide.

I wouldn't worry about it until you know how it shoots.

I went and shook mine (Nov '13 build sku 209301 FS9) just now.

I have to say, it DOES rattle a bit. Giving it a good shake either side, there is a muted but distinct 'click' as the slide moves slightly on the frame.

Seems to shoot ok for me.

If it shoots well, who cares if a handgun rattles? Utterly irrelevant to good shooting...
