Here's my manipulated image for my silly joke ... I am very tempted to buy the pistol to have that extra C machined into the slide, just for a lark.
Has anyone taken a CCP apart to see if the safety can be removed without too much gunsmithing?

Mine has some unexpected tool marks at the entrance to the chamber. It looks like someone took a file to it (and perhaps some other tools).
I have not yet had the opportunity to see if there are feeding issues.

That may not be the best idea on this pistol.Has anyone taken a CCP apart to see if the safety can be removed without too much gunsmithing?
On the Walther Arms website, the manual safety is listed as the "Manual drop safety". This is one of the few striker fired polymer pistols that doesn't seem to have a passive drop safety on the trigger.
Keep in mind that I haven't actually checked out one of these pistols yet to be sure, but if the manual safety is the drop safety, people carrying them may want to keep it functioning, and keep in on safe while carrying it.
