I will avoid the hammer forged topic but for installing a FSB, depends on the type and if you want it done correct.

If you want a clamp on, easy enough to DIY. If you want one that is drilled and pinned, it is a bit more complicated for the DIYer. You need the right tools to do it. Mostly a good jig, vise set up, and a quality press and good bits.

Oh, I'd want it done correctly. Standard A2/A4 FSB.
