    Federal 123 gr Fusion soft point fired from 16" WASR-10/63 into calibrated 10% gelatin.

    BB: 588.5 fps, 3.6"

    Impact velocity: ~2,267 fps
    Penetration: 15.1"
    Retained weight: 117.4 gr
    Max expansion: 0.759"
    Min expansion: 0.460"
    Neck: 0.5"
    TSC: 2.5"x8"

    The 7.62x39 mm Fusion load is quite impressive and one of the top loads in this caliber.

    Fusion seems to be neat stuff. Performs and is readily avail on shelves for not premium load prices. I'm carrying it deer hunting in both .223 and .30-30.

    I too missed that. I'm glad see several loads with a seal of approval... In going to have to pick don't up and test out

    Its my back up barrier blind load. Main reason because its cheaper than all the rest .

    I haven't bought any of the newer Fusion that suppose to be made for the AR15 is it loaded hotter than the standard load? sometimes the wont list the barrel length when they show velocity. 24inch barrel / 20inch barrel /16inch barrel?
