Tuning springs.

I tried to search for a thread about this but was not able to find anything like what I need.

Is there a guide I can read about tuning my pistol's springs for competition use? I know there is a relationship between the hammer spring, recoil spring, hammer weight and trigger return spring but I haven't really found a guide or article that explains how they all interact with each other and how to go about tuning you pistol.

I'm currently running a P-35 with a 21 lb hammer spring and unknown recoil/trigger return spring. This is the part.
