I'm 5'8" and about 165 lbs. I don't care for loose, "relaxed fit" clothing and that can make concealing a Glock 19 a bit harder.

Pictured above: Glock 42 and extra magazine in a Custom Carry Concepts Looper AIWB holster and pouch, respectively. Clinch Pick in Dark Star Gear sheath, Spyderco P'Kal, and SureFire EB1 Backup.

I can get away with the above even with slim chinos and a medium polo shirt. Note: I don't "normally" carry AIWB but I reserve it as an option.

I normally carry conventional strong side at 3:30, typically a Glock 19 IWB in a VM2 or sometimes OWB in an RCS Phantom.

It works really well for me with larger guns.

For example, my 1076 hides much better in an aggressively canted IWB holster than in AIWB.

OP have you tried running your spare mag at 11 o clock? I'm the same size as you and can easily carry a g26 sometimes a g19 in a shaggy with a reload located at the 11 o clock position so even out the hump the "wedge" causes.

    Jay,

Any reason why the Glock 42 over some of the micro 9mm options out there? Shield, PM9, PPS, etc.

I have not. Anyway, that's where my Clinch Pick typically resides.

What style of clothing do you typically wear?

Well, it's the smallest Glock they make and I like Glocks. Regarding caliber, I personally am not concerned that the .380 will get me killed.
