Can't reply to thread in WTS ad

I tried to reply to a thread for a SME in the non firearms section. I am a site supporter so I thought I was good. I private messaged the seller so hopefully I don't lose out on the deal but if there's anyway you could let me know that's be great

I don't work here, but it does mention in the For Sale or Trade forum rules that only the person that created the thread can post in it.

Kinda different than just about every other forum, but I think it works better this way. Less BS-ing on a FS thread. Fewer bumps, less commentary, etc.
