Same or different sights??

Hey guys
Thought I would ask the experts here. I currently carry Heinie straight eights on my cc and am in the process of setting up a pistol for IDPA. I will have the same trigger, but I'm thinking of putting a fiber optic front sight on my IDPA gun. Should I keep the same type sight for familiarity? I'm not trying to place in the top five or anything just something to keep me quick and ex cerise the mind and trigger finger some.

I would probably go with a plain black Heinie with a fiber optic front if I were you. Similar enough not to matter IMO.

Keeping everything the same could not possibly be a bad idea. That being said I use a narrow sight for IDPA and a wider tritium for CC and never noticed a significant change on the timer either way.
