    CT LG-105 info request

If someone has a set of LG-105 grips, could you measure the front to back and width dimensions at the bottom, midpoint, and top? My LGS only has the 305 and 405, but I'm interested in the 105. I want to see how it compares to my current grips dimensionally.

Before someone suggests the 405, I tried it and found it odd feeling in my hand.

    Thanks,
    Chris

    One, feelings lie; http://pistol-training.com/archives/5108

Two, the 105s are pretty much a laser version of the boot grip, just in case you have one of those on hand.

The 405s were way too narrow and the backstrap padding threw my grip off. I'd be happy to give them a fair try if it didn't involve investing over $200 in something that didn't come close feeling "right" in the store. Not only that, there are too many anecdotes about the grips coming apart after a while.

I have a wood version of the boot grip on the gun now. Actually, they're thinner than the UM boot grips. I did happen to fondle a set of 105s after the original post and found them much more suitable.

I'll be going with the 105s.

The 405s do have issues with the backstrap area coming apart. I'm dealing with that now on my set.

My 105's have help up now for...6 years? 7? More than that, probably. One time I had to change the batteries. Other than that no problems.

Same. They're not the most comfortable things in the hand, but they're durable.

At the bottom (flush with the frame): 1.490"

    Just below the button: 1.595"

Then the grip starts curving in and I can't pick a good place to measure from.

Thickness: At the bottom: 1.006" , at the button, 1.122".
