9mm ammo vs 9x 21 ammo

Is the 9mm Lugar ammo and the 9 x 21 ammo interchangeable? The Sierra loading manual says the 9x21 is .079" longer
than the 9mm lugar. My experience is in rifles and that would make a great difference.

No, they're not interchangeable any more than .380 ACP is interchangeable with 9mm Luger. 9x21 has a 2mm longer case than 9mm Luger (aka 9x19mm) and will not chamber in a 9mm Luger weapon.
