Thread: The Islamic State

Perhaps I missed the memo , but why is the idea of Islamic fighters entering through Mexico such a radical concept? The idea is so self evident even HOLLYWOOD saw fit to use it as a plot device.

I hear they're having a parade down main street soon and I'm trying to figure what to take: carbine, 1187, .308 bolt - so many choices. Hell, I may even open carry.

Time to step up the SA and make sure your EDC is clean and ready for action. I don't mean to be paranoid but you never know where the jihadists will strike next. Now that we have started bombing IS in Syria, I'm sure that will stir up the hive and trigger revenge violence. Especially now, I steer clear of "gun free zones".

2 Afghan police officers vanish during visit to Georgetown.

Didn't these guys pop up near the Candian border along with three Afghan Military officers AWOL from Cape Cod MA?

It's a good bet they are trying to apply for asylum in Canada. Given the imminent U.S. Pullout from Afghanistan I wouldn't blame them.

That's a satire piece. Not far from the truth though.

Truth is the basis for the best satire :

“First of all, he was wearing a pair of Asics running shoes—the ones widely available at any Post Exchange—with blue jeans. He had on a TapOut shirt,” another indicator by itself, according to Mixson, “but get this: it was tucked in. It was clear to me he just didn’t know how to wear any of it.”
