I would get a Kimber and have the chamber reamed replace the Slide Stop and extractor put a drop of blue Loc Tite Grip Screw Bushings to start with.

Better to just to replace the barrel or at least coat in with eezox etc.

Ditch the thumb safety and main spring housing while you're at it too...


...and probably all the ignition parts too. And then have the Kim pro stripped and the gun refinished.

Pretty close, the Professional model. I think that on a Champ would be a good piece. Makes me wish the TRP Champion was still a catalog gun.

PT1911s may be of laughable quality, but nobody makes a more pimperiffic 1911.
