I'm not saying I'd trade my Tacoma for one... But I would totally drive the kitten out of a Tercel Technical just because.

And...that may just succinctly sum up the appeal of the Salient G41 Tier 2.....

Out of curiosity...how many of you would buy one if they were only $1,000 including the base gun?

Depends entirely on how much of the guts are still stock; if I want funky cuts in my slide, I know guys who are pretty dab hands with a milling machine.

That exact gun down to the awesome trigger, $1,000 or thereabouts.

I'd spend $1000 on it, if it came with a hand-fitted match barrel; and another Glock...or a mounted RMR with BUIS.

Seriously, if I were going to drop that much coin on a pistol, it plain wouldn't be on a Glock, no matter how "trick" it is.

They'd sell. Kimber sells CDPs with no problem and all you gotta do to make one of those is ruin a slide on a buffing wheel, toss it in the blast cabinet, and screw fancy rosewood stocks to a regular Kimber Carry.
