AIWB is like any other carry position in that what works from some may not work for others.
You are not the only one by a long shot, most people just don't know it or won't admit it.

I tried a new holster without the built in kydex wedge and it is MUCH more comfortable. I do like the idea of having the wedge to point the muzzle away from vital body parts as clisterfark mentioned

Appalachian Concealment is in hiatus for a while. The Head cook and bottle washer had to relocate and take up a new career. Hopefully he will be back in production soon.

Matthew is a good guy and takes customer service seriously.

My new AIWB-CDA II, mag pouch and matching belt. Been wearing this daily for about a week and a half. This is a beautiful and very adjustable and functional holster. Thanks to JRC Holsters.

The ride height of that holster looks very low to me. Probably great concealment but how is the draw?

RCS Eidolon with the rubber wedge fixed ALL my previous issues with every other holster i had tried...I'm FINALLY a happy camper after about 9 years of AIWB.
