Class Review: Rangemaster Combative Pistol I

I hosted Tom Givens and his Rangemaster crew for Combative Pistol I this past weekend: write up.

They did an outstanding job. I particularly enjoyed the wholesale slaughter of sacred cows and the lack of dogmatism simply for dogmatism's sake.
I had an ER nurse in a class. I noticed she kept taking all head shots. Her response when asked why, "'I've seen too many people who have been shot in the chest putting up a fight in the ER." Point taken.

Nice write up. Who knew John was so young? Did Jody drive over from NM?

It wasn't Jody, but it was a P-F member.

Nice write-up, Chief! What a neat thing, to have a local law enforcement agency hosting a class like that.

I had the very great luck to be a class participant while the Rangemaster staff was present, and was delighted to scribble notes like a madman during the discussions. A kind, generous and patient bunch of folks.
