I had an older DW briefly - after 25 years of shooting Rugers and Smiths the cylinder latch just didn't work for me. The lack of grip options is a second complication...
And I REALLY wanted to love that gun.

Hurray! Now maybe I can get some replacement barrels and shrouds without paying an arm and a leg for them.

I have a completely irrational grudge against DW revolvers because about once every few months some Cletus would drag in a more-or-less complete Pistol Pac to sell with the expectation that he had some priceless treasure. Do you have any idea how long one of those things can sit on consignment?
When I was a kid there was one of those pistol packs in the case with all of the barrels on sale at a local store. I used to oogle that every time I was in there. Wanted it badly I did, thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen.
I made the mistake of buying one of those a long time ago. Mine was a complete POK (piece of kitten).
Yes, mine was the Model 15 of course, not the 715.
Sooo... I am not gonna lie, this takes the wind out of my sails a little bit. On the other hand, I saved a ton of money by switching to Ruger?
I had a stainless DW 44mag (744?) back in 1989. Can't say I miss it.
