Now while I totally agree with Todd on his blog posting, I will throw out the individual effects of recoil on the person afterwards can only really be measured by that person.
I can run a .40 really well, on a timer, but the next day my arthritis is going to be very angry with me if I have shot 40-50 or more rounds.
