Pretty much sums it up. While it is stiff, it seems more comfortable than the Ranger. They work REALLY well for AIWB.
Just a Hairy Special Snowflake supply clerk with no field experience, shooting an Asymetric carbine as a Try Hard. Snarky and easily butt hurt. Favorite animal is the Cape Buffalo....likely indicative of a personality disorder.

These come in 1.5 correct? From some of the reviews it seems to be but I am looking for two belts that can be used semi formal in jeans and slacks for non dressy occasions.

Looks like Ares has pulled it off their site. Again. There's a dead link to an empty product page and that's it.

I saw that. I was looking at the site last night and it is a dead link.

Regarding tail lenghtllth, I wear a 34 -36 waist jean and this is a LG belt with a G17 with RMR in. Fricke

If you want less of a tail you can go with a smaller size.

I find it to be very comfortable.

1.5" and feels more stable than my old 5.11 1.75" Casual belt.

The buck elle is a friction device and I've never had it come loose. Actually there's been times when new where it was hard to get off.

Yeah, I'm concerned about that. Was totally psyched to order one of these when production started. Hoping they are just delayed

From the Ares Gear FaceBook page: https://www.facebook.com/AresGear/po...597054309517:0

    Aegis Update:

1 - Aegis Preorders are CLOSED. We will not accept any more
Aegis-family orders until we add Aegis-family belts to the website for
    standard (4 week leadtime) purchase.

2 - We expect (please note our use of the word "expect" instead of
"guarantee") to begin shipping more Aegis-family belts and completing
more of the preorders on Monday (2/10). We've been told by the buckle
manufacturer that they'll have enough buckles for us this week to fill
ALL of the preorders. If this is accurate, we expect to fill the
    preorders very quickly.

3 - The Aegis-family belts will not be available for purchase until
every preorder has been shipped, in the order in which they were placed
with us. This allows us to guarantee that we take care of our current
    (and very patient) customers first.

That type of buckle doesn't work well for me. Other than that it looks nice.

If one carries IWB and a couple spare magazines. I found that the insert isn't really needed.

I bought a 1.5 5stitch ( without insert) wilderness belt in 1999 -2012. I wore that belt every day and its the same stiffness as it was new.

I had to give it up in 2012 and by a larger 38W 5stitch. getting fat
