    Drill I came up with

Yesterday at my local indoor range I came up with a drill. Probably been done before, as my late father used to say: "nothing new under the sun". A good test of accuracy but no time standard as yet, I don't have a timer.

    3 x 5 Headshots
    Standard IDPA target.
Three shots on head at 7 yards, at 10, 15, 20 and 25 yards.
Timing this will be problematic at the indoor range I must use. Simply, I must move the target to the next measurement. It could be timed as individual strings and added up.
    Only hits count.

Add in a time hack and you've got yourself a great drill to warm up / end your training sessions with.

Shot timers tend to not work well at indoor ranges.

I've had some success using a free app on my phone (IPSC TIMER) and using par times. With my electronic ear pro I can plug in the phone and not annoy the other shooters around me.

Par times can be interesting to train with. It can make a lot of people rush when they don't need to.
