I just got my plan cancelled and now it's going to not be cancelled? until it's re-cancelled when Obama wakes up on the right side of the bed in 2014??

A senior Democratic source told NBC News that President Obama will say that people with insurance policies that are being canceled because they do not meet Obamacare's standards will be allowed to renew them, but that insurance companies will be required to tell people re-enrolling about alternative options and the benefits they will lose.

Obama is scheduled to make an announcement at 11:35 am EST.

I hear that josh, but what if my plan, which was just canceled on 11/1/13, b/c it was set to cancel by fiat in 2014, no longer exists and my agent has another plan that he signed me up for? Does he get to 'conjur up' the plan that just dropped me and 4 million others?? This is complete and utter chaos that is being created and I have to wonder if it's purposeful or based purely on incompetence. One is as damning as the other.

...and that's all that matters. Because now Obama "fixed" it, so if it's still broke it's the big bad insurance companies trying to screw you over.

Well, I'm not an insurance agent, not did I stay at a holiday inn last night, not did I even source an article...What I said was based on something I heard on the radio during a news segment. I think we're making the same point, though. Obamacare can't pay for itself without dramatically hurting specifically the middle class and lower middle class. There's no way they can give everyone their plans back, so they need to find creative ways to say that they're keeping their promises, while trying to find loopholes to keep people from getting their old plans, because Obamacare simply can't afford to pay for itself even once the rates were jacked up. They simply can't give people their money back.

All this, in order to help 0.0003533 percent of people in the US. Ridiculous. I thought it was ridiculous to do it when 90% of the people were going to be screwed to help 10%...now it's like 99.99 percent of people are getting screwed. What would George Washington do?
