Thanks for all the responses and suggestions. I actually made contact with the owner of FIST holsters, at the suggestion of one of the regulars at TPI. Jim M. said he can do it no problem. Not sure...

Thanks for all the responses and suggestions. I actually made contact with the owner of FIST holsters, at the suggestion of one of the regulars at TPI. Jim M. said he can do it no problem. Not sure...
No, I did not. I'm not sure how I missed that information. Thanks for the heads up!
Not wanting to derail the thread, but your point has made me curious about whether one could argue that the if the victim DID have the taser then the threat to the Officer is there? To wit: If said...
Looking for help sourcing a shoulder rig for a P2000SK with a Viridian C5L. I have some specific needs that can only be addressed with a shoulder holster.
I inquired of DeSantis but was told they...
Nice list of places. Brazen Head Pub rocks, then again, most any pub there that's not set up for tourist traffic does. Gotta hit Cliffs of Moher our next trip.
OP: Add The Giant's Causeway if you...
I'll see your "+1000" and raise you another +1000 on the raw diet.
To the OP: (Disclaimer: I am not a vet but I have slept at a Holiday Inn Express recently and am speaking from my own learning...
I don't wonder at all. I think it gets them quite engaged... it all the wrong things. As a result, it's also probably a significant reason why there are more "regular folks" obtaining concealed carry...
If it has one then mine doesn't function. I have "bump-fired" it several times testing this out with snap caps loaded up. It didn't take that much force on the butt to fire, therefore I keep mine...
Got the reply from Ring.com. (quoted below)
Short answer: Yes, the battery will function as a backup while the unit is hardwired to existing doorbell power.
I'm sold. As soon as I complete my...
Seems like a great product and I'll probably take two if I get a "yes" to the question of whether it can still use the battery as a backup while being hardwired to the existing doorbell. Awaiting a...
IIRC correctly, I remember reading a post here somewhere, sometime back about someone who was using a "pinch" type grip to draw a P2KSK from a low ride AIWB rig. There was video too. It actually...
I find this interesting, even if I never go swimming with my guns on, it's a good thought, and practical, experiment in my mind.
Now for the big question: How long before DocGKR updates the...
I think these two sum up my views almost perfectly. In my mind, and to Todd's point, the only word I'd add to the two words being defined is: FOCUS.
If you're serious about your shooting, then you...
Could that be a result of knowing in advance the demands of a more precision based shot (head) vs going to the torso? IOW: Gabe knows before he draws that he'll need a more precise shot location so...
I can get behind that. It makes sense.
Out of curiosity, are you referring to the pinky extension on the magazine or the raised portion on the front strap?
ETA: Wouldn't removing the bump, or...
Agreed. Having carried both the P2SK and the P30L AIWB I can personally testify to the fact that the P30 does nothing more, or better, for me than the SK, except tear up my UA shirts like crazy. I...
"My Seal Team 6 just went to Seal Team 8.5" LOL
They're funny and they're equal opportunity offenders, two must have qualities in my book.
It seems that this (bold above) might have been the last point at which the officer could have pre-empted the attack.
As a civilian, I didn't really "flag" the shooter's going back to get something...
Another thing to to keep in mind concerning the backstrap & side panel selection: How it affects your finger placement on the trigger.
For example: I use the small side panels and large backstrap...
With my C5L I did something very similar to what Todd did in post #10.
My pistols are for defensive use only (except for when I practice/train) and I figured that in a true DGU scenario I might...
P2000SK V3 (9mm) w/C5L in JMCK AIWB or SS OWB, depending on the mood I'm in. Two P30 reloads in Kytex pouches, along with a Pikal, Kershaw Cryo, & a Quark QT2L.
Just two of the most recent reasons why PF.com really needs a "LIKE" button... or something similar.
Another huge Boulleit fan here. The 10 year old is even better than the regular.
Also love the Knob Creek Single Barrel.
I have the orange on my P30L and the yellow on my SK. After having painted the stock P30L front sight orange I thought I'd prefer the orange HDs. Turns out the yellow works better for my eyes.
+1
Your experience almost exactly mirrors mine. The only thing I'd change/improve is putting a deep carry clip on instead of the standard clip. Just couldn't find them and stopped looking.
