I too am looking forward to this Tuesday's match. I was lucky enough to snag an 8PM Slot. I have learned something new each time and try to make the KSTG events. Todd and company do a fantastic job...
JV,
Thanks for the tip. I'll stick with my current carry gear then. Honestly, it looks like I am going to retire the 5.11 gear... it got in the way during the draw and re-holstering.
Yes,
Thank you again!
Lessons learned: 5.11 shirts with those velcro thingys really aren't all that great to use to draw a gun. the damned shirt tails get in the way.
Glock 17 works well in an...
All,
Thank you for organizing yet another fun shoot. We really appreciate you guys setting up and running the match. It's nice to be able to do a bit of running and gunning as much of the shooting...
Todd,
Thanks again for the great match! Next time, I'm bringing the 1911, or the Ruger LC9.
My personal experiences with the Kimber are limited to the BP 10 2, the Polymer Double-stack variant.
It's been robust, easy to shoot, and reliable with every kind of ammo that I've run through it....
Todd, et all Range Officers and Timekeepers:
We REALLY appreciate the time and effort put into these games. Each time I come out, I've learned a bit more about what to carry and what not to. Let's...
Todd,
Thanks again for the match! That was a lot of fun and a definite learning experience! Must use 6 shot revolver next time. Must practice reloads...

I get it, I sometimes carry one, but rarely. I find that the Glock 19 / 17 series of pistols is just fine for my everyday needs. Still, I have found the 1911 can be a fun thing to have.
Here's my...
I ordered two of them myself for personal use. Looking forward to when I can take possession. :)
TJ
That would be correct. Thank you for catching that....
I have always been fascinated by these guns from a historical and commercial perspective. I have / had the following 9MM Revolvers in my collection: a S&W 940 in 9MM and a Ruger SP101 in 9MM. I've...
Todd,
Yeah, it definitely won't happen again. What's ironic is that I came home with all my ammo but one round, and my roommate Long shot all his ammo last night. I enjoyed the kitsch, especially...
Well,
At least I can say that I shot a clean match before being Disqualified for "breaking the 180".
I just wanted to thank ToddG for his professionalism last night and for being fair and...
I have some safety glasses that record video and sound that I'm probably going to be wearing next time around so I can get a better idea of what I am doing wrong.
There was one slot open for this match at 8PM last night. Couldn't tell you if it was filled or not. I grabbed the 2nd to last slot.
Yeah, 4 Procedurals in the first two events really really hurts your time. So does shooting full power 10MM (Glock 20). Ok, that itch was scratched. Now onto something different.
Still, had a good...
Kent (the revolver guy) and I (TJ the 28th Glock 19 guy) will be in the 9 o'clock slot. We'll have 1-2 other people with us as spectators.
The last one was a FUN match. I learned a lot and I am...
ToddG,
TJ here from last nights KSTG Shoot. Just wanted to say Thank You once again for putting this match on. Myself and Kent (the revolver guy) had a good time. What I liked about this shoot is...
