In about 1979 I had a lifted shortbed 4x4 Chevy with a 4spd (creeper gear) and an Austin Healy Sprite...
Reminds me of one of my favorites:

Yes, I like just enough cognitive load that it makes me think but not enough that it makes me screw up...
Pretty sure Ben_G has confirmed all of the stocks are the same and here are pictures of my Comp.
It has the skinny hunting pad that is a little thinner.
I think the Magpul will go just a wee bit...
I even like a third point way up front for when/if I want the thing all the way around on my back.
I guess I did sound like I was promoting an alternative...
I was just sayin that the performance of something like the Miata (that is about the same as my car) is fast enough to be a buttload of fun...
I have a 2016 Focus ST I bought new and have enjoyed for 140k so far, and it is about the same performance spectrum as the new Miata, and IMO this is great for a street car you actually drive a lot.
And... turns out the new gun has an H buffer and the old one doesn't...
That was a fun match, damn near made the 70% level I have been aspiring to, some weak sauce reloads of mine bit me in the butt on one stage or I woulda made it. I transitioned to my new and improved...
I think they are a ton of fun. The kettlebell thing was a bit of a gimmick, but I was OK with that, even though I was doomed by it. Guys over forty got a lighter, 25lb KB, I think 60+ shoulda got a...
Your difficult situation is that there are sooooooooo many options, and many/most (maybe even all?) are good.
IMO the best baseline might be the basic bull barrel Ruger 22/45 or one of the basic...
Maybe the only one in the world?
Also good to learn of (local) PPT.
I also enjoyed Nice Guys.

I agree in principal, only that the either-or question might not be between 22LR and 9mm, but might be between a new shooter that shoots 5 rounds out of a J-frame, or 5k rounds out of a 22LR J-frame.
I did this, and IMO it works pretty well.
I know this is your daughter we are talking about and you might not know or don't wanna know, but what she might be wearing under the scrubs could be a...
This could be pretty cool, I have always liked building things up around a frame instead of discarding a bunch of crap, because I never sell/discard the stuff, so I would rather have not bought it. ...
I wanted to have just a fun 22LR that was a bit of a form factor equivalent, maybe more of a cousin than a twin. I do have a 9mm AR that I just love, love, love, so maybe that influenced my decision...
Years (decades?) ago I bought a bunch synthetic differential oil I was going to change out into my truck and never did it, and never took it back to the store. Then one day I ran out of bar oil and...
I only have the one with an SRO, and even though it is 9mm I decided I would do a direct mill just to start with what I perceive to be the best and simples (and lowest) setup.
Don't wanna be ThatGuy/DoucheBag, but it is an inline six. I love the concept, with exhaust manifolds feeding two small turbos from three parallel cylinders each.
ETA: Nice short runners, seems...
I think you were the member that had a gas block that the barrel was dimpled and they still didn't hit the dimple?
I remember thinking when the chatter turned to a PSA gun being under gassed I said...
My experience has been more related to their assembly, like misaligned gas blocks, enough that I was surprised the thing ran, but I can fix that stuff, it is even a little fun
Mine makes AIWB with something like a G19 size gun pretty clunky, but the cylinder of a J just drops into a pouch between my belly and hip like it was made for one...
Is that the Rusty Nutz MRO mount? Does it co-witness?
If you are adjusting elevation (or maybe even to just estimate it?) I have taken a level and a marker and draw a plumb line after you have stapled the target down. With long range guns you can zero...
