As was just said and what I said a few pages back....a ransom rest is needed. Not just to keep the pistol steady but because combat sights and the stock triggers are not conducive to accuracy...
Ok. I will try to get a pic to show the difference
Question for those with a 2.0:
Does the new finish have a dull parkerized look? Almost like an AR barrel?
The reason I ask is that my recent production 1.0 has a finish like this. It is...
I understand the reasons....I just thinks it reflects poorly. I also hated that CHIPs didn't drive Harleys:)
This is a shame. For me there is something fundimentally wrong with the fact the US military uses any foreign made weapons.
Not sure that is the case because Apex seems to have figured it out. Recent production M&P Sears break SUPER clean. I think most of the trigger "issues" stem from the striker block and trigger bar...
I think this is the crux of the "trigger debate" in the practical shooting world. Its all in context of what you are used to. I was introduced to pistols at 17 by an Uncle who shot NRA Traditional...
I am following these threads closely and appreciate the time spent by those posting their feedback.
That said, as far as accuracy goes, I really want to see one of these in a Ransom rest. I've...
Yes it is. I don't know why it is news all the sudden. I have a link and copy of the actual study saved and was posting it in response to anti-gun propaganda I saw on social media the moment it was...
Oh. Ok. Didn't notice that. Thanks
For sh*ts and giggles here is a 2016 1.0 barrel. Looks the same as well...but hard to tell for sure without them right next to each other.

I was looking more for a side by side like some people posted with the Apex barrel. There the differences were very obvious. Those are just of the new barrel by itself, correct?
I would be interested to see side by side pics of the 1. and 2.0 barrel geometry. Apex says their barrels fit both versions, so nothing in the frame or slide was changed related to barrel lockup I...
The TS on recent production 1.0 models is very good. I can imagine they would get better or worse for that matter.
Maybe it's coming soon as I don't see a compact 2.0 either yet.
It doesn't wipe off. It's burnished into the brass.
5" with thumb safety only comes in FDE. Why not black as well?
I just picked up a new production FS TS 1.0 new for $429. Oh well. I would have loved the option for 5" with a TS in black.

Only one in the box. The line is below the foam. The color in the pic isn't accurate as the color of the band is the same as the bullet.
I opened a box of Winchester White box and saw this round with a copper colored ring around the case. I did not shoot it and never saw something like this before. Any clue what it is?

Actually after expanding the review section I think I will pass
http://http://www.10-8performance.com/m-p-magazine-well/?revpage=2#reviews
The disclaimer says that there are issues with fit due to differences in tolerances with the M&P pistols. May take a shot for $30 though
What's the issue with them?
I was looking at the 10-8 magwells but I have heard they have fit issues. Are there any out there that are more discrete than the huge funnels I see? Something that may even be concealable?
I'm...
That's the rail I wanted 2 years ago but I don't think it existed. I picked up and Omega X FSP from DD when they were on sale at Midway for $200.
By the way, Midway has a $35 of $300 or more code...
I think I found tht thread last week but all the pictures explaining everything were gone. I also heard there is a Hilton Yam article but I can't find that one.
Just got a new 9c with a thumb safety. I noticed that you can push it very slightly down and disengage it while it still appears on. My 45's safety is very definite. Just like my 1911's but a little...
