One of the coolest "little" guns I own. But this thing and I have a serious "love/hate" relationship. I've spent a cubic ton of money trying to get it to shoot acceptable groups suppressed. 4"+ at...
I'm running the Magpul, without any risers. For me, I think it would work fine with the factory stock.
I went with the "regular". It ends up with a lower 1/3 co-witness. I prefer that to absolute.

I'm running a 509T, with this plate, on my 1301T. It's lower 1/3 cowitness with the factory rear sight.

When I was transferring all my stuff to my new kit bag, There was a handful of wooden stir sticks in the bottom of one of the pockets. No idea what they were doing in there:confused:....Thank god...
I'm glad you mentioned that, I don't recall ever hearing they wouldn't take 7 rounds. I went and checked, and my gun wouldn't take the full 7 in the magazine, until I removed the spring retainer. ...
At first look, it's kind of a PITA. The top is the threaded part, it interfaces with the bottom, via the pins. You have to hold them together until its threaded down towards he bottom.

I joined the 1301T club this week, a MOD 2 followed me home.
I already had an SGA in the parts bin I took off my 590A1, so I picked up an adaptor, and a Zukhov hand guard kit.
After playing...
Since we're on Helos, I found a couple of dad (and my sister and I, in the first one) from the way back machine.

No, they didn't have a wire strike kit. That was back in 1980, they were still pretty rare in the civilian world then.
I'm convinced the reason they all made it was because they ended up in the...
I may still be in the "what have I done" phase. But this Barrett MRAD in .300 Norma Magnum followed me home yesterday.
I also picked up a .300 PRC barrel kit, so I can afford to shoot it until...
My dad had a significant amount of time in both. He always said the 500 was his favorite helicopter.
His career ended in a 206. Everyone lived, but the unmarked wire cost him his medical.

Congratulations! Looks like you had a fine last trip! I'm eight years behind you, if I go all the way to the finish line, but I'm already counting down the time.
On a side note, the longest...
As a 737 instructor, that is my life. We preach getting the airplane down in the touchdown zone, and not worrying about a smooth landing. Depending on their background, the new hires can be more...
Rumor is there was an error while they were retracting the flaps. The pilot monitoring supposedly went to flaps up when the pilot flying called for a different setting. I fly the baby Boeing (737),...
I guess I'll be the outlier. 6000 hours in the 135/140/145, and I cant find anything nice to say about any of them. When the last one goes off to the beer can factory, I won't shed any tears.
I went ahead, and mounted it up to my 20" A4ish AR. I was thinking about an 4X ACOG for this rifle, like the one that was issued, butI can't justify the price for an occasional shooter.
At the...
I've got a 4x inbound. I'm curious how the reticle will work for closer targets, but an offset RDS is always an option. Originally I was thinking it would be going on a 20" AR, but yesterday I...
Yes, through their special projects program. I always wanted a Bremont MBIII, but this one was too good of a deal to pass up.
Lot's of really nice watches in here. One of these days I want to pick up another Rolex GMT Master, to replace the one I foolishly sold back in my youth. I just cant justify the current pricing...
That was pretty much my experience with the Harrison trigger. I had to remove a little material from both the top, and bottom of the shoe. Probably just a little more from the bottom. The...
Finally got my Harrison short trigger installed. While I was at it, I also picked up a Harrison slide stop, and a DLC commander hammer. Great stuff!
I also thought I'd give a set of gunner grips...
You made me go and look. The edge of the left safety lever is right up at the edge of the frame when it's off. I can feel it just a little in the thumb joint. I'll have to see what happens when I...
I just picked this one up. I wont have chance to shoot it for a while, but it's a very nice pistol, for a factory built gun.
