Got my vcdgrips practioners.

Checked them out, I dig 'em and the price is nice but I really like the VZ super scoop for the mag release. Otherwise I really have to rotate the gun in my hand to hit the release. If not for that...
Grabbed a Springfield Loaded because I didn't have any 1911's with smooth dust covers. Trying to decide on which grips I want to order from VZ for it and I'll probably swap the FLGR for an old style....
I'm kicking myself. EuroOptic had Springfield Loaded models on sale for $720 and TRPs for $1280. By the time I had made up my mind they were sold out and the price had jumped up. :(
Maybe I'll...
Sounds like a keeper.
Can't right now. I'm at work and left my 1911 at home.
Well I'm not gonna wear and Arfcom thong.
I don't even wear pants in the house.
I do enjoy my MC Operator as well. For the money a Springfield is hard to beat. Although the new roll marks are a real turn-off.
I'm pretty much on every email list for that reason.
I saw a cool video of a dude that turned a Fiero into an off road car. So I hop on Craigslist and people want real money for those things. I couldn't believe it.
Well a used Springfield Range Officer isn't really comparable to a Ferrari. More like a Fiero with a fake Lambo body kit.
Maybe. It's one of the reasons I buy Winchester Forged. If a gun will cycle that it'll probably cycle anything.
I have been mulling over 9mm 1911's for some time now. I had to jump on this because they were a little under $580 so it was a good opportunity to try the platform for a low cost. I've only fired 100...
Took the 9mm Range Officer Operator (the name is way too short. They should make it longer) out to the range. This thing is every bit as soft shooting and fun as I expected. I did have one failure to...
Recoil Gun Works recently had some trade-in SA 9mm Range Officer Operators. I was able to grab one literally right before they sold out. After I placed my order I was going to share the link in one...
A good choice. I have an MC Operator, it wasn't my very first, I think maybe my 3rd. It's the only one I still have.
Nah, that sucker drew blood. It caught me off guard how painful it was. I learned to use mags with basepads for a whole other reason. And also bend my hand back farther to get my palm flat once the...
I was talking about the blood blister from slamming that thing home. It got about three times that size before I ended up draining it. But that's also good to know.
I learned something about 1911's today.

The black works with the OF frame nicely. I need to grab a Safariland holster for mine.
They look better in person. The frame of the gun is OD green but it almost looks black in the pic.
Got some VZ dirty olive grips on the SA Operator.
...
Me too. So I bought one. (Like, 8 or 10 years ago...)

That thing is cool as hell.
I tried it once. I prefer the feel of the Magpul grips but the wooden ones look better....
