EDIT: I just checked, that shooting happened in 2018.
I was pretty happy with this group from 9 or 10 yards. I would have been even happier if I had been aiming at the 1 and not the 2.

I know of a shooting with G2 where the suspect was shot many times (i.e. Swiss cheese) and 80% of the rounds did not expand at all. The rounds were fired from MP5’s.
The FBI still uses G2, but...
My rear sight looks centered...I've got some Hornady Critical Defense coming, so I'll see how that does.
I shot my 632UC today after installing a new front sight from JEC (drilling the sight was terrifying, but doable).
The good:
It's very comfortable to shoot-- far more comfortable than an...
You know I disagree with you because we’ve talked about it in person. But I’m certainly fine with people having differing opinions based on their own experiences.
Over 16 years in LE, 14 years...
It will be awhile before we know the long term effects of today’s more potent marijuana. This stuff isn’t the same weed from the 60’s (or even early 2000’s).
Last I saw was that they were cooperating.
The latest I’ve seen reported today (via CNN) is that it was one shooter shooting from various locations in the house, and that the 17 year old is a female.
Who knows.
I will say that the CZ customer service rep that I’ve been in contact with over my DW has been pretty responsive.
I think the custom shop was one of the victims of the changes during the pandemic. I had DW build three custom guns, and they were great.
My understanding from our Glock rep was that they made 10,000 that they eventually released, but they went back and forth on whether they were actually going to release them or not after they were...
My birthday was a few days ago, and my parents and wife surprised me with a Springfield Garrison 1911. I took it to the range today, along with my 632UC. I live in a 9mm world and rarely shoot .45...

CZ bought Dan Wesson in 2005, so they had a lot of good years. There were some changes made during the pandemic that I don’t think were for the better.
DW wanted my new Guardian back, but it got...
MOS3 — Leupold
MOS5 — Trijicon
MOS6 — Holosun
MOS7 — Aimpoint
Available in G45s and 47s.
I think I knew at one point, but the only thing I remember now is changes to the magazines.
Call your Glock LE rep and ask for a Glock 45 MOS-5.
The testing for the POWs involve less rounds than the testing for the duty gun (19M).
43 and 43X (after multiple tries/design changes). I don’t know that the Shield was ever tested.
It did not pass FBI’s testing, but has passed testing conducted by other agencies.
I just borrowed three other magazines from a friend (DW OEM and Metalform) and none of them engaged the slide stop at all. It was like there no magazine in the gun when I cycled the slide.
I just found a 9mm ETM in the back of my safe that I forgot I had. It won’t even seat in the gun. It’s like it starts to engage the mag catch, but not fully.
All my friends know I buy high and sell low. They circle around me like vultures.
Interesting. I’ve never had issues with the OEM magazines, but I know they’ve changed a lot of things in the last few years that I got away from 1911’s. I’m going to see if I can come up with some...
