If it tells you anything, I have one Romeo two new in a sealed box, and three Romeo X optics in use on different pistols.
R2 has a bigger window, and a larger dot option than the X. The shroud system seems like an interesting idea that isn't so great once you use it.
The X sits WAY lower and I prefer the battery...
Lok does, and there is silicon carbide for everything else!
Can you call in and order?
I would get a MOS pistol, for the reason you mention, and I wouldn't give a second thought to the difference in height between it and your direct milled pistol. I would also consider the DPP MOS...
When they started, I thought of Magpul as bringing out high quality products. Lately, it seems like they are more about bringing out cheaper products.
Have you tested the Buffalo Bore 9 mm hard cast load in your Glock to see if it is reliable?
I have carried a 365 Macro TacOps every day since last November, and shot it more days than not. My wife and I have shot thousands of rounds a month through 320 based competition pistols. Will be...
I recently purchased a Sangin Kinetic 2. I thought I would prefer the pilot version, but the expedition is what they had in stock. When I received it, it was quickly obvious that the UTC numbers were...
What are your thoughts on the overlord?
I was shooting a match with a friend on Sunday, that tried hard to compete with his CBP issued Acro and Glock. Despite being an extremely talented shooter, he really disliked the Acro for...
So do you mean to say that holsters that carry the pistol lower and tuck the butt further in are slower to draw, than holsters that are basically competition buckets worn in the appendix position?
...
Yes, sorry for the lack of response -- just saw this.
I have been use my Ops Core and ear plug double set up for some time now, and am completely satisfied. I do notice when wearing them for eight...
The reason we ditched the .44 wheel guns was it seemed silly to be carrying something we shot handfuls of cartridges a year through, as opposed to something we shot thousands of rounds a month...
This morning, around 10 AM with a reasonably high sun, I was shooting a SRO and not having issues with a false dot. I moved pretty far back and decided to turn my dot down in intensity to help with...
On the subject of 44 versus 10mm, that is settled for my wife and I, and we would take a 10mm any day because of the capacity and our currency of training with semi auto pistols. To me the more...
Certainly a heavier .44 would be more comfortable and better shooting, but the Scandium 329 is what my wife and I carried, and is the .44 that I most often observed being carried by bush pilots.
My match video from today.

I got a new strap for my Marathon 41 mm navigator. I find myself wearing this watch more than any other.

On these kind of decisions, always follow the money -- with the Steiner I'd want to know who has the battery contract. :p
Perhaps I just have bad luck but I have broken Aimpoint, Steiner, Leupold, Vortex, Trijicon, Sig and Holosun optics enough times that warranty is something important to me.
For now, it seems like we can mark this one case closed.
My wife, me and a dozen friends are running the R3 MX and XL with high round counts with excellent reliability. Sig's warranty is best in the business.
