The guys at Speedbeez have a 632UC and are looking at making loaders last I heard.
Guns are shipping weekly. As you can imagine the demand is way outstripping what we are getting though.
Thanks Bill. Enjoyed talking to you the last few weeks!
Thank you Det1397. We’ve been checking the sights on guns as they are coming in and the last several batches have all been good. Hopefully that is behind us. For those who had a problem thank you...
April 22nd.
I find it slightly softer shooting than 135gr Gold Dot +P. I’d say in between the Gold Dot and wadcutters running 750 fps out of a 2”. This is all in Airweights.
For me and from what I saw at the media event, the Lost River wadcutter, the Buffalo Bore 32 Long wadcutter, the Federal 85gr JHP and the Hornady 80gr CD all shot to the same point of aim at around...
Lost River wadcutters are my favorite load. We also had great results with the Hornady 80gr Critical Defense. The Double Tap 60gr all copper hollow point was very impressive and expands consistently...
That is some really good shooting! Great thing about the 32's is that it's easy to put the time in with them because your hand won't be sore after just a few cylinders like the 38's can be. Your...
WDR,
All the ones I have measured have been .005 to .006 which seems to be the sweet spot for reliability and keeping velocities up.
Paul,
Try tapping the back of the grips with a rubber mallet. That will usually separate the halves and allow you to get them off.
Speed Strips work pretty well with wadcutters in the UC guns for me. I think it helps that the Lost River wadcutter loads have a little of the bullet exposed and crimp into a crimp groove as opposed...
Please email me (cloessner@lipseys.com) your serial # and information and I will call our contact in Customer Service about it. If it comes back with an issue again, just get with me and it will be...
If anyone got a gun with a dead front sight, please email or call me directly and we can do one of three things. I can send you a replacement front sight if you have the ability to change it...
We are still on schedule to receive guns throughout March/April as originally planned.
That is correct. 32's should start next week. Just remember we don't get all of them at once. The first 4000 will be shipping throughout March/April.
I thought I'd share my wife's first experience shooting my 632 test gun. I brought it, her LCR in 38 Special, and her S&W steel frame 640 38 Special to try side by side. She shot the 32 H&R 632...
On the Bisley models yes. Should have more stainless and blue ones this year.,
You should have seen the look on my boss's face when in the height of the AR-15/standard capacity 9mm Obama run I wanted to do a run of single action 44 Specials! Fortunately, it ended up being a...
Here's a little background on the Flattop Bisley 44 Specials. In 2009 we (Lipsey's) convinced Ruger to make us a run of mid-size frame Flattops in 44 Special. Originally they only wanted to do...
S&W is making the rear sights on the UC.
XS is only making the fronts.
The only hang up I see is the 640 Pro has a dovetailed front sight and the UC is pinned. Would have to find the right height dovetailed front to work with the UC rear. I’d have to see if XS makes any...
That’s a good question. I’ll have to ask.
I shot another 50 rounds of Lost River 100 gr 32 load through my sample 632UC Friday. All I can say is at 10 yards there was one ragged hole right in the middle of a B8. No discomfort at all after 50...
