Yeah well hopefully that means it's higher quality. I bought 400 rounds at about .25 per. We'll see I guess.

This is kind of what I was asking. I've seen UMC of course, but never seen this stuff. Oh well, guess I'll just try it.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this stuff. Specifically 9mm 115 gr. I've only ever see UMC as Remington range fodder and IMHO it's not the greatest. Wondering if the "range"...
Sounds like YOUR M&P does at any rate. I've never had any problems at all with Aguila ammo. I shoot a lot of it in 9mm and .22. It's always been reliable and shot clean for me. Infact it's one of my...
Awesome that worked great. Thank you.
DocGKR has done many tests of other loads on his list and shared the actual results of the tests.
Since (I believe) we are talking about FMJ rounds, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say absolutely nothing.
I read a book written by a Marine who was in an infantry unit in the initial Iraq invasion. He said that the Iraqis had taken a concentrated form of it, and during the Marines' clearing of a village...
or khat...
I second this request...
Yeah it's pretty damned confusing, as are all firearms laws in this God forsaken state
BTW which CZ forum were you referring to?
The state of the current law in California is not that simple. POSSESSION of standard cap mags is not illegal. However acquiring them, importing them, manufacturing, selling, or receiving them is....
My state does not permit that. Trust me.
I think I will try some different ammo. Most of the SD ammo I use is 124 gn +p. So maybe I will try some training ammo that is similar.
What you say...
I think I'd just replace the barrel before I reamed out the chamber. I'll have to look into that.
Interesting, I haven't noticed about sticky extraction or a mark on the ogive. I'll check next range trip.
Sounds reasonable, thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately CZ can't replace the mag in my case, as I live in California and it's a standard capacity 16 round mag. They can't ship me another one...
The stovepipes always happened in the middle of the mag. As to your comment about changing more than one variable, I suppose you
're right. I'll have to go back to scratch and start over changing...
Hey guys, I don't post here often but I read enough posts to know that there are some pretty smart shooters here and I have a bit of an issue I thought some of you might have some insight on.
I...
Doc I was under the impression that HST and Gold Dot did quite well through barriers
Really? You include FN, Ruger, Taurus, and Kahr, but not Sig?
I carry a Sig SP2022 in 9MM
I THINK I understand what you're asking, and if I do, I've asked essentially the same question here before. Whether bone fragments are a significant additional wounding factor. The answer I got was...
"A straight-walled case dramatically improves cartridge feed angle and feeding reliability."
It's pretty hard to imagine how one could "dramatically" improve the feeding reliability of the 9mm...
What is this?
I don't think they do anymore...
As for M855/M193, there is also this from the Ammo article at Arfcom, where DocGKR gave significant input...
While the M855-type ammunition generally meets performance requirements, there have...
