Is this a good thing?
My NRA membership is up for renewal this month, and I’m contemplating whether my dues would do more good with GOA, or my state 2A organization.

I’m a little confused by your description of reloading, and the location of the controls on the Tavor…
Above the photo you wrote
“ A big difference between the Tavor that I own and the newer X95...
Suvorov and I will come a bit north and we’ll set up a compound…
Yeah- I wound up re-sticking mine after a few years with 3M adhesive strips. Good to go since then.
Probably a permanent “solution”, but they’re LEDs that are on for 2-10 hrs a week. Should...
I’ve had one on my Lee Classic Turret Press for several years now.
Highly recommended.
Yes, or the similar MOE SL or MOE SL-K
Or:
“Well; …shit”
A. - shows “TEMPORARILY BACKORDERED”
B. - what makes this superior to a Magpul short adjustable stock with a LAW folder? Shorter LOP? (No dimensions provided).
Not being argumentative- just...
One of my favorite P-F threads, brought back to life… 😃
I have one on my 11.5” SBR.
Positives:
- large “window”
- excellent, multi-function reticle
- hold-over dots would be useful for 300 BLK, especially subs
- works well with a Juliet...
I’ll second that recommendation. My Beretta match gun has a 12# hammer spring, but has lit every pistol primer I’ve tried in it (Federal, Win, CCI, GINEX, etc) - but a rifle primer took 4-5 strikes...
Based on this recommendation, my wife and I watched “We Were The Lucky Ones” over the past several days.
It’s excellent television. Engrossing (sometimes horrifying) story. Great acting, and...
FWIW-
I took my CX4 to the range earlier this week and shot my usual carbine drills with it. I was shooting my IDPA load (147 gr at 890 fps out of my B92).
The CX4 was crazy-easy to shoot. With...
I’ll second this. (Or “Third” it, as I believe Suvorov said it, too).
Pretty much. It’s not legal to acquire magazines that hold more than 15 rds. But I can continue to buy/replace 15 rd mags (for Beretta or Glock or whatever else).
I had hoped that the Wilson would...
Thanks for the heads-up. I’d be pretty unhappy to drop $2,000+ on a Wilson Combat AR9 only to discover that it wasn’t reliable. Hell, that’s more that I paid for either of my Geissele rifles...
Yep- I think you’re right. I had just searched on “.22 caliber”. Didn’t occur to me that they’d classify all rimfire together.
So I guess .22 rimfire rifles with tubular magazines get exempted...
Please tell me that was “ten or twelve SECONDS fast”.
The bolded part is not correct.
I just went and re-read and searched the text of the latest draft… the .22 rimfire exemption is only for tubular magazines.
Living in one of those states…
The pending bill would prohibit the transfer of any weapon with a pistol grip, removable magazine and any one of a dozen or more additional features, like a threaded...
Yep- have one of those already. With a Sierra Papa trigger upgrade.
I’m particularly interested in an AR pistol for cross-compatibility with my other ARs, and for small size.
Good question…. I’d certainly like it to be an option.
I tend to justify buying quality by wanting to be able to depend on a particular firearm for lifesaving purposes.
A 9mm AR is appealing as a...
As the AWB looks increasingly likely to pass here in CO, I’m contemplating what I’d want to add to the collection while I still can.
One would be a 9mm AR. Because I have literally dozens of Beretta...
Similar experiences have certainly been a source of education on how an AR is put together.
I tend to think of their uppers and lowers as “parts kits that have been assembled, but possibly not...
Does your FDE Pilot’s Navigator have the same feature?
I’ve been eyeing the black version.
